Dear editors,
It is i...Comment by Ritwik Banerji:

Dear editors,

It is interesting to know that the lawyer Mr. Palaniappan representing the respondents (Manoj Das Gupta, Managing Trustee of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and four other Trustees) in Radhikaranjan's case argued that there was no contractual or employer-employee relationship between Radhikaranjan Das and the Ashram Trust like in regular educational institutions and that whenever the inmates of Sri Aurobindo Ashram voluntarily came forward to offer their services to the Ashram as a means of their sadhana and that the Trustees gave them work without assigning any reasons and without any written appointment. Therefore whenever the Trustees likewise felt that the inmate should be removed from his existing work, they could do so without any written explanation whatsoever. Did he also say really or does it amount to saying that the Trustees or the Registrar of SAICE are competent to give four darshans on four Darshan Days in the Ashram? Do they really give their own messages on those Darshan Days by virtue of the powers inherited, acquired or usurped by them? And the Trustees are now running from court to court to save their faces and making the Ashram community servile, with whose money?

It is a sad experience, indeed, to know that the vast majority of a small Ashram community of a few thousand inmates has least idea of what is going on in the Ashram since 2008, not to talk of years before that. Recently I had an opportunity to ask an inmate about who this guy Peter Heehs is and what he is doing in the Ashram. Very naively he said he is doing research work in the Ashram Archives Dept with Bob! What amazing information!

It is high time now to understand the general IQ and real perceptions of all inmates and Trustees including the Chairman of the Society. 99.99% of them are imposters or concerned with basic needs of roti kapada aur makan only. If any out of the rare 0.01% followers of Integral Yoga still remain among us, he/she must be hiding his/her face out of shame from the public eye or struggling much in his/her sadhana. It would not be appropriate to bring the word equanimity here lest the present community of imposters as well as the naïve helpless commonplace lot may run for it to claim as its own virtue in spirituality and sadhana or indulge in a false amour-propre..

Are we not letting the Hour of God pass by without taking any advantage of it?General Editorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08357387091233027707noreply@blogger.com
